"It is with great pleasure that I write this memo about Rahni, my hair stylist at Keparé Salon. I travel from San Jose to have Rahni cut, color and style my hair. It is so worth it! If you ask Rahni to trim your hair an inch - it is an inch - not 3. She listens carefully to what I want. I have chemically treated hair (the best highlights ever which Rahni magically does) and a couple of times a year she gives me a body wave, it is awesome. It is a special body wave for chemically treated hair which I understand she went to the East Coast for certification to properly use the product. Rahni enjoys making her clients feel really great. She shows me how to keep the style so I always look and feel great. She is always happy to see her clients and when you are there, you are special - just like Rahni and her beautiful smile!"

"Patty Williams at Keparé has been my esthetician for over a year, and I recommend her whole-heartedly! She's warm & friendly, and Patty's calm nature relaxes you right away.... helping you to just enjoy the pampering. Since my very first month with Patty, my skin consistently looks beautifully bright and healthy. I get the executive facial (with an occasional glycolic peel), and come out of her room feeling royal, relaxed and happy - and my skin is glowing and feeling fantastic.
Our skin changes all the time, due to climate, genes, hormones, stress etc.... and Patty assess your skin at each visit. She asks about your home skin care routine, and advises how to care for your skin between facials. You can tell that Patty loves what she does! My friends have all commented that my skin always looks fresh, clear and bright. I give Patty all the credit =)"

"I lucked upon Jen over 10 years ago right after I moved to Santa Cruz. I had bleached my own dark brown hair and it was a disaster. And I had a wedding to be in! Not only did Jen fix my color, but she gave me the best haircut I had ever had (and I had had some good haircuts so that is saying a lot). She is the all-time best. Sometimes I wear my hair quite short, and Jen is never afraid to go as short as I want her to, yet she keeps every cut feminine, creative and original. She also worked with me when I wanted to grow my hair out, so I felt like I never had to go through that awkward stage, you know? I completely trust any ideas she has with color and cut because she really takes the time to get to know a client, their style and what their hair can do. Jen makes me look my best. I feel it and I always get compliments and everyone asks me who cuts my hair. When I had to move to San Jose for my job I tried to find someone closer to my new home, but no one was as good as Jen. She is completely worth the trip! And last but not least, Jen is just a delightful human being to spend time with. Not only is she an exceptionally talented stylist, but I completely adore her. Oh, and she can give one heck of a head massage! If you can get your hair cut by Jen, you are lucky!!!"

"I've been coming to Keparé for over ten years. I have had three different stylists in that time, and have been with Pati Parodi, my current stylist, for at least 8 of those years. All of the 'cuts and colors' walking out of the shop are fabulous...I've seen an entire age range...young kids and women much older than me being made beautiful there. There are plenty of men getting cuts, too. The shop is great...beautiful photos taken by Pablo Yee, the owner, hang on the walls and the decor is stylish. The shop is ULTRA CLEAN. The haircut is always phenomenal, but it is the customer service orientation that is most impressive. I travel for business and pleasure, a lot. Pablo always works with me and my schedule, including accommodating same day schedule changes and most recently when I was gone for 3 weeks and he was leaving on the Monday following my return, he met me at the salon on a Sunday to make sure my hair stayed in top shape. "I have been getting my hair cut by Jen for almost 12 years because she simply is the best. Over the years Jen has given me a variety of short, long and medium styles. She has also given me lowlights and highlights. She even restored my hair to its natural golden brown after I foolishly experimented with dye at home (bad idea). Most recently, Jen gave me very cute bangs. Along with her cutting and coloring expertise, Jen also gives amazing scalp massages that are deeply relaxing and really make you feel pampered.
